ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Scand-LAS 2021 Symposium will bring together scientists dedicated to laboratory animal science in the Scandinavian region. The symposium will glimpse backwards at the 50 years of Scand-LAS organisation history and review the state of the art of clinical practice and modern technologies in action.

The purpose of the project is to hold a symposium to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Scand-LAS organisation, carrying on the traditions and upholding the importance of annual meetings of the scientists active in this field. Being held in Tallinn, Estonia, the symposium will introduce Estonia to about 200 foreign guests, many of whom may be here for the first time.

The PCO Publicon, responsible for the event, is funded with 29 389.99 EUR by Enterprise Estonia (EAS) from the EU European Regional Development Fund to organise the Scand-LAS 2021 symposium. The aim is to present Estonia as a favourable destination for international conferences and congresses.
